We are working with our Insurer client to identify a Risk Surveyor to fill this key appointment. The role will be home based with most clients in the greater Dublin area although some nationwide travel will be required. Working with a small team you will report to the Risk Management Manager. This role would be appropriate for an experienced risk management professional but equally our clients are open to a candidate with development potential.

 

Role Responsibilities:

·         Undertake desktop and on-site valuation and/or risk management survey assessments in line with agreed survey authorities

·         Produce suitable valuation, risk survey and risk improvement reports in accordance with published guidelines, to a professional standard and delivered in a timely manner

·         Plan, prioritise and manage individual workloads to enable efficient delivery to agreed service standards.

·         Act as lead Surveyor on Key Accounts

·         Proactively provide insights and, updates and communications to internal and external audiences

 

Who might be interested in this role?

·         Someone with experience in commercial insurance risk surveys

·         Insurance Qualification (MDI or higher) and relevant Health & Safety qualification

·         Full clean driving license

·         Can analyse an organisation/location and identify resilience or vulnerabilities in respect of insured perils 

·         Organisational and problem-solving capabilities and willingness to work outside own comfort zone to support wider business and personal development opportunities

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Confident and influential communicator at all levels
