The company have been established for over 30 years and has an impressive portfolio of clients and stakeholders, within both the new build and heavy structural refurb sectors.

Candidates are preferred to be within an hour and a half of my clients head office based near hull
They require an experienced Site Manager to deliver new build projects, with values between £2 - £10m. You must have experience in delivering projects from the ground up, candidates with experience working on retail and mixed use new build and heavy structural refurbishment projects offer a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
- Supervise the work of labourers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Experience working as a Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
- Experience in effectively managing teams
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
- CSCS card at Site Manager level (or equivalent).
- SMSTS certificate
- First Aid certificate
- Construction Management – HNC Level 4, HND Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 is desirable
- Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate is desirable
