My client is a regional contractor that turns over £60m delivering projects up to £10m in value. They are specialists in the education, healthcare, commercial and industrial market. They are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Site Manager to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working within a Site Manager role or similar, gained within the New Build sector. You will possess excellent communication skills, a logical and systematic approach and will by driven by your own high standards and objectives. As a minimum you will hold a CSCS Site Manager card and a relevant qualification in Construction or CIOB membership is desirable.

Duties:
  • Ensuring compliance on site at all times to the company health and safety standards and processes, building regulations and overall quality standards.
  • Co-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programme, and to proactively schedule in trades to ensure optimum delivery Manage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock but enough to ensure the site programme is met and all labour is efficiently employed.
  • Reporting in to the regional Contract Manager, your ultimate responsibilities are as follows
  • Delivering projects to timescale and budget.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest possible standard.
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on site.
  • Responsible for procurement, health and safety, and managing sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring the client’s needs & requirements are met.
