My client has built up an excellent reputation as fit out and refurbishment specialists. Their hard working and delivery focused commitment to client satisfaction over the years has ensured their success. They operate nationwide from multiple offices throughout the UK. Whilst they form part of a larger group of companies they are able to undertake projects and secure business through their own endeavours. They operate across multiple areas of construction including new build and fit out.
They have been successful in acquiring multiple projects for many blue-chip clients and they are looking for an Estimator to join their team in the North East and report into the Senior Estimator
Required Experience/ Skills
· Finding out what the client wants.
· Researching materials, equipment, and labour costs.
· Gathering quotes from sub contractors and suppliers.
· Assessing the levels of risk on a project.
· Analysing company data, exchange rates and prices using software packages.
· Preparing and submitting quotations for work.
· Helping with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities.
· Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts.
· You must have a minimum of 3 years professional experience in a similar role.
· Experience in main contracting, ideally within a maintenance or small works environment are preferable.
· You will have a strong understanding of the Estimator role.
