Design Director - Mega Development - Riyadh

My client is an established Architectural firm with an excellent portfolio of projects in Saudi Arabia.

Currently, they are working on a Multi-Billion SAR development project and due to the need to recruit specialist staff, they are urgently looking for a Design Director in Riyadh. A fantastic package is on offer and the opportunity to work on a prestigious government project that will lead Saudi’s development over the next 10 years.

Preferably, candidates who are currently in Saudi Arabia are preferred due to the travel restrictions.

Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):

• Responsible for managing and planning the activities of a group of design personnel, technicians and specialists.
• Review completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and design data.
• Provide input into the design and control of the development budgets, construction cost, operational modelling and forecasting and for architectural plans and specifications.
• Providing positive leadership and team building which will encourage employee engagement and maintain a high morale.
• Monitor design processes and prepare reports on projects while seeing ahead to the future possibilities.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Minimum)
• Managerial charisma
• Knowledge of local regulations
• Wide ranging portfolio (Mega projects desirable)
• Currently in Saudi Arabia
