Claims Surveyor

We’re working with a respected consultancy looking for a talented Claims Surveyor to join their specialist disputes and claims team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a varied portfolio of construction claims while working closely with clients and legal teams.

The Role:
You’ll independently manage a live caseload of construction claims — from variations and prolongation to disruption — providing advice, preparing documentation, and leading negotiations to reach fair settlements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of claims, including preparation of supporting documents and negotiation strategy.
• Collaborate closely with client teams and project stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, present findings, and lead claim discussions.
• Assist in developing business and promoting services to existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain a high standard of professional ethics and confidentiality.
• About You:
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Chartered (MRICS) preferred, but not essential.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and claims procedures.
• Experience preparing detailed, articulate claims documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
• Able to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

📍Location:

• West Midlands or commutable to London (3 days per week in office)

Package:

• Negotiable on experience
