This field-based role offers the chance to take on a key responsibility in generating new leads, building and managing long-term customer relationships, and driving sales growth across your designated territory. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively visit retail stores to identify new business opportunities and introduce the company’s products and services. Secure new customers by convincing them to sign up as preferred suppliers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Regularly follow up with customers to ensure needs are met and any concerns are addressed.
- Order & Account Management: Manage customer orders, from securing new orders to confirming deliveries and handling reorders effectively. Ensure timely and seamless service to customers, following up regularly to ensure continued satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively address and resolve customer issues or concerns to ensure a smooth and positive experience. Troubleshoot any challenges and provide timely solutions.
- Market Insights: Gather valuable feedback on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends to assist with the company’s sales strategies.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, customer interactions, and sales calls in the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in field-based sales or customer relationship management, preferably in the retail or wholesale sectors.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully onboarding new clients.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively pitching products and negotiating deals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to resolve customer concerns and challenges, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Self-Motivation: Comfortable working independently, managing your schedule, and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Driving License: A valid driving license is essential, as this role requires extensive travel to retail locations.
