This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, commercially minded individual who has already developed a strong foundation in business and is now looking to take the next step in their career. The company is looking for someone capable, confident and motivated, with the potential to develop into a key member of its management team over time.

About the Business

Our client is an established specialist supplier and installation business, working with some of the UK's leading residential property developers. The company provides a comprehensive service, coordinating the supply, delivery and installation of kitchen appliances across residential developments throughout the UK.

With a substantial operation incorporating sales, procurement, logistics, contract management and customer care, the business has developed a strong reputation for delivering a reliable and professional service to its customers. Operating from modern premises in Castle Donington, the company offers a friendly and supportive working environment, with an experienced team and a strong emphasis on delivering excellent service.

The Role

Working closely with the contracts and wider operations teams, you'll play an important role in coordinating the successful delivery of customer projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from the initial order through to installation.

This is a varied, hands-on position that combines commercial awareness, organisation and problem-solving. You'll work across different areas of the business, helping to coordinate people, products and processes to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and professionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking an active role in managing customer contracts and coordinating the operational delivery of projects across multiple residential developments.
  • Liaising with site managers and customers to coordinate product requirements, delivery schedules and installations.
  • Working closely with procurement and stock control teams to ensure product availability and timely fulfilment.
  • Coordinating with logistics teams to ensure deliveries and installation resources are allocated effectively.
  • Managing changes to project specifications, schedules and customer requirements.
  • Taking ownership of operational challenges, working across departments to resolve issues and ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You'll be joining an established office-based team, with the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution from an early stage. As you develop your understanding of the business, there will be genuine scope to take on greater responsibility and progress into more senior operational management positions.

About You

Ideally educated to degree level, you'll have gained some practical experience within a commercial or business environment and be looking for an opportunity to take the next step in your career.

Experience in operations, logistics, supply chain or contract coordination would be advantageous, although this isn't essential. We're equally interested in individuals from other professional backgrounds who can demonstrate strong commercial awareness, initiative and the potential to develop into a more senior role.

Ideally, you'll be able to demonstrate:

  • Some previous experience within a professional or commercially focused environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the confidence to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how different business functions work together.
  • A professional, dependable and trustworthy approach.

Above all, we're looking for someone bright, switched on and motivated, with the confidence to use their initiative and the desire to make a genuine difference within the business.

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary of £33,000 – £37,000, depending on experience.
  • Annual profit share bonus scheme.
  • A varied and responsible position within an established and growing business.
  • Modern offices and a friendly, supportive working environment.
