- Building strong relationships with electrical contractors, industrial customers and other local businesses
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the local market
- Leading, motivating and developing the team
- Managing and developing key customer and supplier relationships
- Overseeing stock, purchasing and the day-to-day operation of the business
- Monitoring commercial performance and making informed decisions to drive continued growth
- Creating a positive, ambitious and customer-focused environment

Requirements

You should have:
- Experience within electrical wholesale or a closely related electrical distribution environment
- Previous management experience, or significant senior sales/commercial experience with the ability to step into leadership
- A strong track record of developing customer relationships and growing business
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of sales, margin and profitability
- The confidence to lead and develop a team
- Strong knowledge of the local electrical market and customer base
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to make decisions independently
