Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of building sites to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Review building plans and specifications to assess compliance with building codes.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients, architects, and contractors regarding building regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspections, including any necessary follow-up actions.
- Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate the building approval process.
- Stay updated on changes to building legislation and best practices in the industry.
Requirements:
- Valid registration as a Building Inspector 2A+ with relevant professional qualifications.
- Proven experience in building inspection or a related field, with a strong understanding of building regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
