This young, start-up consultancy on the outskirts of Norwich is expanding. As such they have created the opportunity for you, a structural engineer with at least 3 years' UK consultancy experience to join the team and progress your career.
You'll provide practical, creative and sustainable engineering solutions in an environment that is fully supportive of your professional development.
Projects range from £2m leisure facilities, to smaller, one-off bespoke structures - each with its own challenge and opportunity to learn.
What you'll be doing:
Assist with the design and analysis of building structures in a range of materials (concrete, steel, timber, etc.)
Develop and review structural calculations and drawings
Contribute to site visits, surveys, and inspections
Collaborate with the design team, architects, and clients to ensure projects meet technical and regulatory requirements
Manage and maintain project documentation
Support senior engineers in the preparation of reports and technical documentation
What you've already done:
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Familiarity with structural design software
Good knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
