We are working exclusively with an expanding and award-winning organisation who require an experienced Team Administrator to support their Audit and Accounts team. You will work closely with the department manager and enjoy a varied administration role; one that gives you the chance to work closely with colleagues at all levels including multiple business Directors and also exposure to external client liaison.

This administration role as a Team Administrator, would suit someone who thrives in a busy, team oriented environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and service. This is a great role for someone who enjoys learning about a specialist area whilst also maintaining general administration responsibilities whilst supporting other departments and office locations where needed.

This is a full time officed based role in Birmingham city centre working 9am until 5pm.

Duties:
  • Working closely with the Manager to support the Audit and Accounts team with all secretarial and administrative tasks
  • Responsible for dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence for the department either electronically or in the post
  • Accurately maintain and update client details
  • First point of contact for all client queries by phone and email
  • Assist in the preparation of billing and invoicing, acting as a liaison point between internal fee earners and the client
  • Closely monitor work-in-progress reports for management
  • Ensure all working documents are scanned and electronically filed as required.
  • Carry out company secretarial work including taking full responsibility for ensuring statutory documents are filed before external deadlines.
  • Book appointments for clients and attend client meetings when required
  • Provide cover for Reception during routine breaks, holidays and sickness.
  • General administrative tasks as required such as scanning and filing
Skills and experience required:

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in a previous fast paced Team Administrator or Customer Service Administrator position
  • Self-motivated, efficient and hard working
  • Excellent levels of attention to detail
  • Confident, articulate, and professional communicator
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Collaborative team and customer focused nature
  • Experienced and capable of managing deadlines and prioritising workload
