WEEKENDS VEHICLE PAINT SPRAYER REQUIRED AT BUSY BODYSHOP IN PETERBOROUGH

Type: Part-time, long-term (Self-Employed)
Salary: Between £250 and £700, based on skills and experience
Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 8AM-5PM

Due to continued growth within our business, we have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team.

The desired candidate will possess the skills to carry out all aspects of light vehicle maintenance, including painting.

The duties of a vehicle painter include:

Prepping vehicles for paint application, including sanding and masking.
Masking and protecting parts that are not to be painted or coated.
Filling small dents and scratches with body filler and preparing surfaces to ensure paint and other finishes will adhere properly.
Mixing paint according to specifications.
Applying paint to vehicles and ensuring a high-quality finish.
Maintaining accurate inventory of paint and supplies.
Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and the Bodyshop area.
Assisting with other tasks as needed in support of the team.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Automotive Servicing & Repair Level 3 qualification (essential).
You ideally will be fully qualified with at least 3 years' workshop experience.
You will be fully competent to complete minor dent repairs and paint vehicles to high standards (OEM quality).
You will preferably have the skills to complete filler repairs.
Ability to work unsupervised in a well-equipped workshop.
Willingness to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
Must be able to work quickly and effectively to hit targets, but most importantly, be able to produce work to an excellent standard.
