Due to the expansion of our industry, we have a very rare opportunity to recruit additional Floating Valeters to join our Rental team, covering work throughout Eastbourne, Uckfield, Portslade, Brighton and Hastings.
You will be required to travel to various sites within this location to cover absence, holiday, sickness and general volume of work.
As an Area Floater/Valeter,
• You will be reporting to the Area Manager.
• You will be required to complete all sales vehicles to the required specification on time.
• You will also be required to make sure your team are completing their jobs correctly and turning up to work on time.
• Must be able to travel between different sites and cover gaps, when needed.
• Ordering chemicals & materials and communicating with dealership staff will also be required.
• You will be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in a sparkling condition.
• You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude, pays attention to detail and has an understanding of safety procedures, manufacturers’ instructions and warnings for different cleaning chemicals.
• Managing valeting product levels - ensuring ample stock at all times, without being overstocked.
• Cleaning vehicles inside and outside to the required standards
• Carrying out inspections on vehicles and completing checklist for each
• Collecting and delivering vehicles to/from customers
• Always be polite and helpful when dealing with customers at pickups
• Work in a team of valeters to get all vehicles cleaned and delivered.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm Saturday 8am to 1pm
Salary:
£13.50 per hour- This is a higher rate of pay to account for the fact there will be travel to various sites and requires use of your own personal vehicle.
Requirements & Qualifications
The right candidate will have a valid Full Driving Licence & solid background in operational support and strong experience within the valeting industry.
You could work at a garage, at a car dealership, in a workshop or at a client's business.
Your working environment may be outdoors in all weathers.
You will have to wear a uniform and protective clothing.
