CAR VALETER (SELF-EMPLOYED)

Average earnings of £500 per week , depending on experience.

Full driving licence is mandatory! Experience preferred, but not essential as training can be provided, if needed.

Shift Pattern - 6 days a week (possibility to do only 1/2 Saturday)
Monday to Saturday 8.30am-5.30pm (lunch breaks available)

As a Vehicle Preparation Operative,
You will be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in a sparkling condition.
You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude, pays attention to detail and has an understanding of safety procedures, manufacturers’ instructions and warnings for different cleaning chemicals.

Key Duties

• Managing valeting product levels - ensuring ample stock at all times, without being overstocked.
• Cleaning vehicles externally with a high-powered pressure washer.
• Using a high-powered vacuum to clean and shampoo vehicle interiors.
• Clean windows, wheels, door handles and mirrors
• Apply gels and other finishes to bumpers and trims
• Steam clean engines, frames and wheel arches
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork (MOP).
• Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals.
• Making sure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure at all times, reporting any defects and complying with manufacturers’ instructions and PPE recommendations.
• Other duties to support the branch if required.

Requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in UK (where applicable)
• Passport/ID Card
• Personal UK Bank Account

You will be working at a prestigious car dealership.
Your working environment may be outdoors in all weathers.
You will have to wear personal protective equipment (provided by the company).
