Compliance Manager

My client, a boutique law firm operating in the Sports & Media space, has a requirement for an experienced Compliance Manager to work alongside the Partners to ensure compliance standards are maintained and exceeded. at all times.

Working with the firm’s Partners, the role includes assisting with:

• Client engagement processes, including assisting with the production of letters of engagement and client onboarding documentation
• Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions processes and documentation
• Fee earner training on the firm’s compliance processes and Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions processes
• File opening / closing processes
• Other compliance related operational tasks and duties as required.

Specific Role Requirements:

• Strong IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams
• Experience in working collaboratively with colleagues
• Ability to think and plan strategically and show initiative
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Pro-active attitude to work and task completion
• Work with honesty, integrity and be culturally sensitive
