The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Lead and motivate the staff team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
- Ensure activities are planned and delivered in line with the EYFS framework.
- Monitor children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements are met at all times.
- Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
- At least 2 years' experience in a senior or management role within an early years setting.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- A proactive and supportive approach to leading and developing a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
