Room Leader (Under 2’s)

Recruitment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded nursery in Finchley for a passionate and experienced Room Leader (Under 2's).

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated early years professional to lead the Under 2's room and make a positive impact on children's early development in a supportive nursery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Under 2's room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
• Oversee planning, observations, assessments, and children's developmental progress.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS requirements are consistently met.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Support, mentor, and motivate the room team to deliver outstanding childcare.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).
• At least 2 years' experience working in a nursery setting.
• Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior practitioner role is desirable.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Location: Finchley (N10)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Salary: £25,000 – £27,500 per annum
