Deputy Manager – Early Years Setting
Forest Gate | Permanent, full-time| £26,000 - £29,000 per annum
Recruitment Professionals are hiring on behalf of a well-established Early
Years setting seeking a committed and experienced Deputy Manager to
join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing
environment where children's development and well-being are the priority.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education
Strong knowledge of Birth to Five Matters and the Statutory EYFS
Framework
Proven experience delivering EYFS curriculum including literacy and
numeracy
Confident managing parent/carer enquiries, registrations, and event
coordination
Skilled in staff supervision, appraisals, training, and rota planning
Experience with budgeting, timesheet oversight, and team
deployment
Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication
skills
Professional telephone manner and IT proficiency (Microsoft Office)
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
In-date, recognised Paediatric First Aid certificate
Sound understanding and practice of safeguarding policies
Personal Qualities:
