Private Client Lawyer

firm in Peterborough to recruit an experienced Private Client Lawyer to
join their thriving Wills, Trusts & Probate department. This is an excellent
opportunity for a passionate legal professional to handle high-quality work,
contribute to business development, and make a real difference in clients’
lives.

The Role
As a Private Client Lawyer, you will:
Deliver expert legal advice in Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Inheritance
Tax planning.
Manage a varied caseload independently and ensure timely
communication with clients.
Maintain high standards in line with Law Society rules and internal
quality and practice management procedures.
Actively contribute to business development and promote cross-selling
opportunities within the firm.
Oversee billing processes, working to target levels and supporting
credit control efforts.

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Solicitor with a valid Practising Certificate.
Solid experience in Wills, Trusts & Probate matters.
Strong understanding of Inheritance Tax planning.
Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and client-
focused approach.
Ability to manage your caseload efficiently and in compliance with
internal systems and policies.
Team player with the drive to support business growth and provide an
exceptional client experience.

Key Skills and Qualities
Law Degree or equivalent.
Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous professional
development.
IT literate and able to adopt in-house systems and procedures
confidently.
Willingness to attend internal and external training sessions.

What’s On Offer
Competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience).
