Room Leader – 2-3 or Pre-School Room

Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional ready to
take the lead?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a warm and well-established nursery in
Northwood seeking a confident and dedicated Room Leader to join their 2-
3 or Pre-School Room. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a
leadership role and make a real impact in a nurturing, high-quality early
years setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading daily routines, activities, and learning experiences for
children aged 2-3 or in the Pre-School Room.
Supervising and mentoring a team of Early Years Practitioners.
Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and education in line
with EYFS.
Building strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider
nursery team.
Monitoring developmental progress and maintaining accurate
records.
Supporting the Room Manager and Nursery Leadership Team as
required.

What We’re Looking For:
Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare/Early Years.
Previous experience in a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner
role.
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A warm, approachable, and professional attitude.
