IT Trainer
Peterborough | Permanent, full-time| £30,000 per annum
Recruitment Professionals is working on behalf of a respected law firm in
Peterborough to find a dedicated and proactive IT Trainer. This is a
fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about improving digital skills
and supporting legal teams with high-quality training and software
expertise.
The Role
As an IT Trainer, your primary objective will be to enhance the Firm’s IT
capabilities through tailored training, guidance, and documentation. You’ll
work closely with staff across departments and locations, helping them get
the most from the firm’s systems while assisting with day-to-day IT support
needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver IT training sessions (group, one-to-one, and workshops) across
offices.
Develop, update, and maintain user-friendly IT training guides and
helpsheets.
Conduct IT inductions for new starters and assess IT competencies
where needed.
Support staff with software including Microsoft Office and legal-
specific systems.
Identify training gaps and opportunities to improve efficiency and
system usage.
Keep training records accurate and up to date.
Support the IT team in testing, implementing, and documenting
software rollouts.
Assist with basic IT support tasks and user troubleshooting.
Skills & Experience Required:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with legal software and IT systems (advantageous).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
Motivated with a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.
Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
A team player who works collaboratively and maintains confidentiality.
