Job Role
  • Being responsible for the co-ordination of exporting customer orders worldwide
  • Preparing international shipping documents
  • Processing customer orders and credits using Sage
  • Monitoring customer back orders, forward orders and call off orders
  • Ensuring all orders are promptly put through to the warehouse and despatched
  • Maintaining and log all shipments in the Export Shipping Summary and follow up with customers, freight forwarders and Senior Export Coordinator on any issues
  • Obtaining and file all export documentation from point of shipping
  • Responding to all queries in relation to part numbers and technical information (supported by technical department)
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Updating and liaise with the warehouse regarding order picking, order changes and special requests, escalating any issues to the Senior manager
  • Supporting the Middle East with their processes and training and escalate any issues where required

Skills and experience:
  • Export experience essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Very strong administration/sales support skills
  • The ability to prioritise workload
  • The ability to work equally well in a team and under own supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work under pressure. Also be able to adapt to change
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use the full Microsoft suite of applications, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience with Sage, SAP or Similar CRM database
