You will be working in the site office with site supervisor and contract manager, interacting daily with our engineers and the main contractor on site. - Training will be held onsite at the head office in Bromsgrove for the first 2 weeks, full expenses to include hotels will be covered.
Job Role:
- Working onsite at client site offices
- site engineers are using correct drawing revisions (downloads from Dropbox & printing)
- Maintaining master snagging register
- Co-ordinating all quality inspections and sign offs
- Maintaining records for all items in the Inspection and Test Plan
- Co-ordinating of site forms (plant inspections, inductions, tool box talk registers)
- Producing of task-specific RAMs (for items not covered in main project RAMS)
- Plant hire / off hire / breakdowns and fuel for plant
- Co-ordinating of subcontractors (recruiting, checking qualifications etc)
- Supporting health and safety of project
- Generally organising anything requiring record-keeping
- Assisting site supervisor and contract manager
- Ordering stationery
Skills and experience:
- Experienced site-based project coordinator preferred
- Experience working in the construction industry is preferred
- Familiar with printing drawings
- Advanced skills MS Excel (working with data, sorting, advanced filters, subtotals, IF functions, Lookup functions, data validation)
- Intermediate skills MS Word (using heading styles, creating tables, formatting paragraphs and pages, headers, footers, page numbers)
- Must have a good command of English and be experienced writing business emails
- Time management / prioritisation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team skills and analytical skills
