Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team. This role involves carrying out inspections, repairs, and servicing on a variety of vehicles to the highest standards. The position is Monday to Friday – no weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and effectively.
Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
Conduct MOT pre-checks and ensure vehicles meet DVSA standards (if applicable).
Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards.
Adhere to health and safety procedures.
Use diagnostic equipment and follow technical manuals.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers if needed.
Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and procedures.
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
Proven experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Desirable (but not essential)
MOT Tester certification.
Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles.
Manufacturer training/accreditations.
