Service Advisor – Guernsey
Pembrook Resourcing are currently seeking, on behalf of their client, a Service Advisor to work in the aftersales department at their dealership based in Guernsey.
The Ideal Service Advisor:
Previous experience in a service role is preferred
A passion to deliver a high standard of customer service
An organised individual who can deal with many duties on the move
Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
Administration skills, with confidence using computers and the ability to organise and prioritise work
Key Responsibilities:
Establish rapport with and provide outstanding care to customers
Identify and anticipate ways in which you can help the customer and achieve sales targets by selling technician labour and products
Book customer vehicles in for servicing, aiming to maximise labour utilisation and efficiency
Arrange alternative transport for customers (e.g., courtesy cars) and coordinate vehicle pick-up/delivery with drivers
Manage and follow up all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaise regularly with customers, the Workshop Controller, and Technicians as required
Clearly explain service charges and work carried out, involving technical advisers for support when needed
Relocation Support
This role includes a comprehensive relocation package for successful candidates relocating to Guernsey, which includes:
Relocation allowance to cover moving expenses
Rental deposit assistance to help secure accommodation
Local support and guidance with settling into island life
