Welcome to the heartbeat of our global finance team! Here in Finance, we're more than a department; we're a global team collaborating across the UK, China, the US, and India. Together, we're the backbone of the business, ensuring quality, mitigating risks, and optimising audits, taxes, payroll, invoicing, and credit control—just to scratch the surface of our diverse responsibilities!

As a Credit Controller, you'll spearhead our efforts to maintain robust financial health by tactfully managing credit notes, invoices, and client relationships. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring timely payments, nurturing positive client connections, and optimising our financial operations. Your Role in Action
  • Forge and nurture positive relationships with a diverse ledger of 400+ client accounts.
  • Utilise your skills in chasing debts via phone and email, minimising debtor days and reducing overdue debts.
  • Handle disputed accounts, negotiating to align payments and swiftly resolve issues.
  • Meet monthly collections targets, efficiently managing deadlines and collections.
  • Maintain precise and updated customer details and account notes for accurate financial tracking.
  • Process new account requests, ensuring adherence to payment terms and credit limits in line with company policy.
  • Process credit note requests, refunds, and issue necessary documents like invoices, statements, and reminders.
  • Investigate and set credit limits, responding to credit limit increase requests with meticulous analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Project, and Account managers to resolve financial issues effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive account details to Senior Credit Controller and Finance Team Manager as required.
  • Establish efficient communication channels within teams and departments while managing your workload and seeking managerial support when needed.
  • Comfortable working on a remote basis, with the ability to attend the office 2 - 3 days a month with the rest of the Finance team. This can be discussed in more detail at interview stage
