1st Line Helpdesk Technician

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic family run company based in Willand on a full tine permanent basis. Our client is looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide support to team members an external customers to assist with any software or hardware issues and to ensure a solution is provided.

Key Duties:

  • Responding to enquiries to assist with resolving technical issues with hardware & software
  • Researching and trouble shorting problems to determine a resolution
  • Providing support for all IT products
  • Maintaining a log of software & hardware problems detected
  • Supporting users by teaching, instructing and providing any training as necessary
  • Arranging external support when issues cannot be resolved in house
  • Following up to ensure the user is happy with the outcome
  • Any adhoc duties as required by the IT manager


Key Requirements: 
  • Experience of resolving computer software and hardware problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Office software
  • Good knowledge of PCs and fault finding
  • Good Analytical skills


In return my client is offering working hours of Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm, salary of £18,000 - £20,000, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and company pensions.
