Sales Ledger Clerk

Our well established client who is based near Clevedon are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a friendly team in order to chase existing customer debts as well as ensure efficient management of the sales ledger.  As such you will hold experience working within a finance role, ideally on the Sales Ledger side.

Duties to Include;

-        Responsibility for the sales ledgers.
-        Collecting overdue debt.
-        Investigating and raising credit notes.
-        Ensuring PODs are supplied and saved for all outstanding invoices.
-        Ensuring debt is insured as per company policy.
-        Weekly reporting of aged debt.
-        Resolving any EDI issues for IT department.
-        Setting up and maintaining customers and pricing information.
-        Updating debit note tracker and ensuring debit notes are received for all deductions.
-        Submitting monthly intrastat.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

This is a permanent position offering a salary of circa £20k depending on experience with excellent benefits
