A fabulous and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small but growing mortgage brokerage firm based in Bridgwater.  As the Mortgage Administrator you will be supporting one of the UK’s Top Rated Financial Advisors as listed in the Times newspaper.

Due to our client’s expanding customer base a highly competent and service-orientated individual, who is looking to expand their knowledge and development skills would be a perfect match.   

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Preparing mortgage and protection product applications
  • Managing mortgage applications from submission to completion
  • Liaising with Clients, Lenders and Insurers
  • Filing of electronic client documentation
  • Keeping track of diary management, task management and scheduling events
  • Inputting data ensuring all documentation is accurately entered
  • Tracking and monitoring of each processing stage of applications
  • Ensuring regulatory and company compliance levels are maintained through thorough checking of client cases and documents
  • Preliminary product research – mortgages and protection products
  • Working seamlessly with the Mortgage & Protection Advisors providing a world class service at all times to valued clients
Essential Skills:

  • Mortgage Administration Experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software
  • Excellent communication skills, in person, by telephone and in written form
  • Ability to work using one’s own initiative, to be able to develop solutions and solve problems
  • Professional and friendly approach with a great command for customer service

In order for you to be able to provide full support you will be an experienced administrator with an excellent eye for detail, one who is looking to work directly with Whole-of-Market Mortgage & Protection Advisors.

To be successful in this post, it is imperative you have an enthusiastic, driven and highly motivated nature.  Good general knowledge of mortgage and financial protection products and legislation, experience of keying mortgage and financial protection applications and related mortgage qualifications would be preferred but are not essential.
