We have a brand new opportunity to work with an established business in Avonmouth.  This is a busy and engaging role where you will work as a Hire Administrator looking after the hire of vehicles to a variety of customers across the UK.

Our client is offering; 

Salary of £20,000 - £24,000
23 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (Christmas shut down deductible)
Company pension scheme

Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.30am – 5pm

The successful candidate will be responsible for; 

  • Maintaining accurate records of the hire fleet 
  • Preparing hire contracts, obtaining customers insurance evidence 
  • Liaising with the sales team, workshop and transport manager to ensure timely preparation and delivery of hired plant 
  • Tracking and reporting of hired equipment 
  • Coordinating inspection reports and recharging damage to customers 
  • Raising purchase orders as required for hired in plant, raising prep jobs and GRNs as required 
  • Inform the Senior Management Team of any issues that may arise. 
  • Direct investigations to verify and resolve queries calmly and decisively
  • Working closely alongside the Transport manager and providing cover and support when necessary 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Any other administrative tasks within capabilities
  • Answering incoming telephone calls

This role is ideally suited to a candidate used to working in a hire environment, or alternatively have experience coordinating and maintaining a fleet of vehicles.
