A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Credit Control Team Leader to join an international manufacturing client based in Wellington.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the Credit Control function, ensuring it’s effective and efficient operation. This will include:

·         Collect all debts as they fall due and minimise overdue invoices through solid an effective communication with customers
·         Implement credit limits in line with credit checking procedures
·         Resolve queries on customer invoices, internally and externally
·         Resolution of debit note deduction queries
·         Maintain good relationships with customers
·         Periodic debtor reviews with Financial Controller and Sales Team

As the Team Leader for the Credit Control function, you will be acting as a role model within the team, ensuring best practices are following and encourage team working. Experience of operating within a leadership capacity is highly desirable for this role.

Within your role, you will be working closely with your team to identify and implement improvements to working methods and processes, provide holiday and sickness cover for the team as well as conducting all annual performance reviews.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will also be responsible for the maintenance of the Sales Ledger with the support of your team.
