Warehouse Operative
My client is a cutting edge technology company working in the rapidly growing world of Audio Visual Conferencing. As an expanding company we are on the hunt for exceptional people to come and join our team, if you enjoy a varied and challenging role then this could be for you.
Day to day you will be pivotal in all logistical operations within the company and work with all departments within the organisation as well as many external partners such as couriers and suppliers to ensure that everything keeps flowing.
Based in our newly developed warehouse you will be responsible for the day to day operations so if you have a meticulous eye for detail and diligence to get everything done while creating a positive atmosphere within the warehouse then we want to hear from you.
Key Areas for Warehouse Operative
Controlling of goods in and out the warehouse
Receiving goods in
Processing of goods as required
Monitoring requested shipments and picking as appropriate
Shipping goods on dates required
Facilitating shipment of packages
Main duties for Warehouse operative
Internal movements of stock as required
Monitoring requested internal picks as appropriate
Control of stock levels
Monitoring stock levels
Controlling the movement of stock around the office to ensure all stock is accounted for
Warehouse up keep
Unlocking and locking of the warehouse
Dispose of rubbish
Safety checks on manual handling equipment
Safety checks on access equipment
General Operations Support
Ad hoc operations support as required such as but not limited to;
Fleet support
Movement of kit between stock locations
Cover for operations team as required
Attributes
Warehouse Experience Essential
Can work independently while also working as a team
Have a welcoming but assertive attitude
Problem solving
Having a can do attitude when things may not go to plan – resilience
General IT skills including, emails, calendars and basic maintenance
Driving license, Full UK, Clean
Please note driving electric stacker will be required - Training will be required
