About the Role: As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in preparing and organizing all necessary documentation for client meetings, assisting with research and analysis, and ensuring that client needs are met in a professional and timely manner. You will work closely with financial advisors, supporting their efforts to provide comprehensive financial planning and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities of Financial Analyst:
Support advisers in all aspects of file preparation for client meetings.
Use research tools such as Selectapension, Synaptics, Trustnet, and cashflow modelling tools to provide data-driven insights.
Efficiently use the back-office tool, True Potential (TP), for managing client data and preparing suitability letters.
Accurately convert soft facts and fact finds into suitability letters and pre-approve files for advisors.
Assist clients with servicing needs such as withdrawals, annual reviews, and general queries under the guidance of advisers.
Manage and resolve incoming and outgoing client queries.
Prepare annual review reports and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
Process new business applications and manage outstanding requirements.
Maintain excellent communication and organisational skills to keep clients updated and ensure the back office and diaries are accurately maintained.
Confidently interact with clients, handling their queries promptly and efficiently.
Analyse ceding information from providers and assess investment funds to a high standard.
Perform general tax calculations and assist with complex financial scenarios.
Work effectively under pressure and within strict guidelines.
Train and mentor team members on administrative tasks and new projects.
What We’re Looking For in a Financial Analyst:
Strong knowledge and competency in using financial research tools (Selectapension, Synaptics, Trustnet) and back-office systems like True Potential.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Confidence in handling client queries and delivering high-quality customer service.
Ability to analyse financial data, including investment funds and tax calculations.
Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines.
Experience in processing new business applications and managing the client lifecycle.
