CAD Technician
Oxfordshire | Permanent, full-time| £20,000 - £28,000 per annum
Our Client is looking for a CAD Technician to support the design team.
The role will be pivotal in the continued growth & expansion of the business, whilst supporting delivery of high quality, well-engineered audio visual and video conference projects to our clients.
Typically, the duties of the CAD Technician will include but won’t be limited to:
Production of system related drawings in AutoCAD, which will include AV Layout Drawings, Building, Electrical & IT Works Required, Elevations, Sections, System Schematics, Rack Layout, Metalwork layouts and any other drawings as required.
Assisting with technical handovers for upcoming projects.
Updating project documentation to reflect “As Built Status”
Updating drawing register as necessary.
Assisting with archiving of project folders ensuring all information enclosed is current and accurate, as per the company’s quality management system.
Assisting with the creation of new and maintenance of existing templates as necessary.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate would also have the following attributes:
A good attitude and willingness to learn new skills and absorption of new knowledge.
Experience of using Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
AutoCAD experience essential.
Experience of working within a Technical/Design environment would be advantageous.

To ensure that health & safety policies are always complied with.
