AV Site Manager
The AV Site manager will be predominantly based at sites across London. There may be the need to visit North London office on occasion.
A leading audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships nationally.
My client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to be a key part of their London, to take ownership of quality standards, resourcing and reporting of any defects or delays to Project Manager so that customer expectations are met. As part of your role, you will have the understanding to follow schematics, cable schedules, site plans, scope of works and drawings and perform the lead engineering role where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all aspects of the on-site installation team from first fix to commissioning
Ensuring that the AV system is installed in accordance with the project Scope of works and or brief and functioning
Resource planning including project updates, risk reporting, logistics & consumable requests, and on-site resources
Representing the PM in their absence and sign off for completion of small projects or where delegated
Clear and concise communication both internal and external, and attending coordination meetings where appropriate
Maintaining H&S files and safe systems of work for the project and conducting H&S awareness briefings
Quality assurance to include reviews of installation activities
Desirable Skills
Working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements and their installation (including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, Video conferencing, etc.)
Technical knowledge of AV equipment, design concepts and schematic drawing
Understanding of client needs, room environments an use
Additional Skills
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful approach
Administration skills including typing and reporting using Office applications
The ability to deliver under pressure with minimum supervision
To communicate effectively with people at all levels
A positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering the role
Experience of meeting targets and deadlines and working under pressure
