This is an opportunity for the right apprentice to become involved in reception administration within our portfolio of GP Surgeries.

General Practice is the first port of call for most patients seeking healthcare assistance.

If you are passionate about delivering the highest quality of service to patients within a receptionist role, then we can support you achieve such a career. 

With this apprenticeship, you can expect to learn all aspects of primary care administration including:

Clinical administration
Repeat prescriptions
Stock monitoring
Dealing with action requests for ambulance transportation on behalf of patients
Collection and handling of patient pathology samples
Opening and closing of premises
Record handling
These are some of the duties that shall be involved and you can expect to engage via telephone, email and face to face.  You shall be mentored and supported by experienced staff.

You will be exposed to the very highest levels of service within primary care with the largest provider of such services within London.

We help develop and support career progression and this apprenticeship will pave the correct pathway to a more senior role within practice management.

  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
  • Ability to grasp new software packages with training provided

  •  5 x GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including English and maths.

Things to consider
 
Whilst you will likely be located at one practice site, there is the need to be flexible and work at other London sites
