Experienced Commercial Flooring Fitters – West Midlands.

Carpet Roles UK, the specialist flooring industry recruiters, are seeking on behalf of our West Midlands‑based clients experienced Commercial Flooring Fitters to join their growing installation teams.
Our clients are established West Midlands based flooring contractors working across multiple commercial sectors and now require skilled fitters to support continued project demand.
🛠️ Work You’ll Be Involved In
• Vinyl & Safety Flooring — Cap and cove, welded seams, commercial safety systems
• Carpet & Carpet Tiles — Offices, retail, hospitality
• Ceramic Tiling — Wall and floor tiling
• Smoothing Compound — Subfloor levelling
• Surface Preparation — Grinding, scraping, uplift
• Timber Flooring — Engineered, solid, laminate
• Moisture Testing — Hygrometer testing, RH readings
• Surface Damp Proof Membranes — Liquid DPM systems
• Entrance Matting — Heavy‑duty commercial matting
• Sand Cement Screeds — Traditional and fast‑dry systems.

🎯 Candidate Requirements
Our clients are seeking fitters with:
• Proven experience in commercial flooring installation
• Strong skills across vinyl, carpet tiles, timber and safety flooring
• Good knowledge of subfloor prep, smoothing compounds and moisture testing
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
• CSCS card
• Experience with main contractors
• Knowledge of DPM systems and screeds.
