Commercial Flooring Operations Manager / Regional Leadership Role

Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their Clients, a leading East Mids based Commercial Flooring and Tiling Specialist Contractors thriving Southern Division with significant growth over the last few years in their search for some additional Key Personnel, in this instance we are seeking a senior Professional to take ownership and manage the Region in conjunction with the Senior Managers and Directors at Head Office.

Our Clients are a well established Commercial Flooring and Tiling Specialist Contractor, based south of Leicester near Hinckley and offer a comprehensive package of Commercial Flooring and Tiling Solutions and serve a broad client base and have, over the decade or so they have been operating gone from strength to strength and are now in a rapid period of growth and hence its a great time to join their team based out of London and running Commercial Flooring and Tiling jobs across London and the wider South East Region.


# Job Summary
The Commercial Flooring Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the flooring division, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of flooring products and installation processes, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

# Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of flooring operations, including project planning, execution, and completion as well as growing Client base in the Region.
- Taking Ownership of the Southern Operation, working from their London Offices
- Supervise and lead a team of flooring and tiling project and support staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring that all projects are delivered on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and quality of work.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and best practices within the team.
- Prepare reports on project status, team performance, and operational efficiency for senior management.

# Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in operations management within the flooring or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of flooring products, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.

# Working Environment
- This position is based in a dynamic office environment with regular site visits to various project locations.
- The role may require occasional travel to meet with clients and suppliers.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment is essential.

# Salary & Benefits
- This is a permanent position.
- Full-time hours are expected.
- Salary details are to be discussed during the interview process but will be commensurate with this key position in the region of £60k to 70k Basic plus Benefits Package.
