We are delighted to be assisting our clients, the Raised Access Flooring Division of a larger Commercial Flooring and Fit Out Contractors in their search for an additional Contracts Manager to assist with delivery of new Business wins and future growth plans into 2025 and beyond!

The Role:
- Our Clients are a small business and so we are looking to hire someone who fits within their company culture.
- We are briefed therefore to find them a results-orientated, driven individual with a high level of energy to work closely with their team, helping to shape the future of the business, reduce company exposure to risk and influence their strategy for growth.
- The purpose of this role is to manage live contracts end to end by delivering quality installations on time and on budget.
- This will include stakeholder management, labour management and variation management of live projects.
Key Focus / Accountabilities:
- Quality assurance of installations.
- Managing the client experience and journey.
- Liaising with Procurement and pre-con to manage material delivery.
- Overseeing the operational fitting teams.
- Overseeing health and safety.
- Identifying opportunities to help us grow as a business.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Technical:
- IT skills – average standard required.
- Takeoff Software – (can learn on the job).
- Raised Flooring industry and product knowledge – High standard required.
- Construction knowledge – High standard required.
- Financial and commercial knowledge – High standard required.
- 10+ Years in the Industry.
- CSCS Cards (ideally management level).
- SSSTS or SMSTS Safety Qualification.

- Multi-tasking and strong organisational skills; being a small business there will be a lot to juggle across multiple projects and opportunities
- Attention to detail – you will need to review documents and spreadsheets and have a clear eye for detail.
- Project Management Skills – you will need to manage tasks, deadlines and have one other staff member supporting you.
- Autonomy - Our clients are a small business so require a level of autonomy to grow and shape the business
- Driven – our clients are a small company experiencing rapid growth so are looking for determined individuals to drive the business forward.
- Builds relationships – Strong relationships are required both internally with team members and externally with clients and suppliers.
- Financial and commercial analytical skills – We require strong analytical and numerical skills

Projects:
- You will be likely to be running 1 or 2 larger projects or several smaller projects at the same time and effectively at the core of the role toi be overseeing Site Operations.
- Raised Access Flooring is the ideal experience we are seeking though consideration will be given to senior Contracts Managers with some knowledge.
- Projects vary in size from £100k up to £6million (1000m to 100000msq!) so must be confident and capable of running with the ball quickly.
