Back Office Support - Flooring Contractor
London | Permanent, full-time| £20,000 - £30,000 per annum (Negotiable Salary + Benefits Package)
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a relative newcomer to the London Flooring and Tiling Installations market with associate well established partnerships in Ireland in their hunt for a Specialist Flooring Contract Manager to assist with their ambitious growth plans and bulging order book.
They have made use of their many years experience in the London and wider UK Tiling and Flooring market and have won some significant clients already so are ready to grow their management team to keep the progress moving. They have offices in Central London (Kings Cross) which offers a great central location to work from and the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a dedicated small team of Flooring Industry professionals.
Effectively we are looking for someone looking to develop a career in Contract Flooring, learning the finer points as you go and contributing to the efficient running of the Business.
Ideally you will have some knowledge or experience of Fit Out Flooring Installations and will be confident of managing suppliers and installation teams as well as the delivery of great finished installations on time and budget every time.

The Role will encompass the following (and more) elements:
- Working closely with pre construction team.
- Processing of supplier orders
- Project file management
- Working with estimating in obtaining supply costs.
- Assisting in issuing quotations to clients.
- Assisting in costing of client variations
- Assisting in processing of sub contractor payments
- Creating of O&M manuals via existing templates.
- Working with the commercial team to update monthly progress sheets/ claims for payment.
- Organised and methodical approach to administrative tasks.
- IT Literate and confident using the various MS Office tools such as Email and Excel Spreadsheets.
- Prepared to take on training and expand their Flooring Specific knowledge.
- Confident with Liaising with Flooring Fitters and other trades as required, organising workloads, liaising with suppliers, internal projects and Estimation teams etc.
- Communication skills need to be decent written and verbal.
- Soft skills wise need to be open to build a career and hungry to learn and develop a career.
- Must have a positive can do attitude.
- Salary (c£25-30k to start).
