Staffordshire | Permanent, full-time| £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (Negotiable Salary + Benefits Package)
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a New Build Specialist Flooring Contractors with a reputation for delivering large Volume Installations on Housing Developments across the North West and Midlands Region in their search for a Senior role within their Management Team.
We are looking for a Financial Controller in this instance who will oversee complete control of the Financial health and operation of the Business, reporting to the Board and suggesting solutions to bring the company increased Profits and efficiencies moving forward.
This is a role that has evolved from the success of the company operations and is now the next step on their journey to becoming a larger organisation than they have thus far on their successful story. You will therefore be carving yourself a Key role moving forwards.
Overall Objectives:
Aside from the aforementioned key position within the organisation (our clients foresee this role initially sitting just below Board level but are open to discussions in the future) you will be rewarded with a starting salary (again our clients are open to negotiation) in the range £45-55k to start.
The Role will be based at our clients head office in Staffordshire and will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Overall Objectives:
- Ensure that our clients meet the necessary tax, permit and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with an executive team to establish more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company’s ledger.
- Oversee all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures.
- Provide executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategy.
- Summarize budget trends, analyzing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives.
- Provide external auditors with the necessary documentation and support.
- Take care of tax preparation duties or collaborate with external tax accountants for tax preparation.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Analyze financial data.
- Monitor internal controls.
- Oversee and prepare income statements.
- Participate in budgeting.
- Manage financial transactions.
- Streamline accounting functions and operations.

- Ideally from a similar Flooring or Construction Contractor background, this is not essential though.
