Contract Manager - Commercial Flooring
Newmarket | Permanent, full-time| £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (Negotiable Salary + Benefits Package)
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be working with New Clients near Newmarket, a well established Commercial and New Build Flooring Contractors who are part of a larger Retailer.
A Flooring Division with an annual turnover in excess of £2 million, Working across the East of England, Our Client supplies and installs contract flooring into new build housing developments, hotels, schools and hospitals. Our Client is a family run business which was founded 75 years ago with a strong heritage in the East of England. This is a rare opportunity to join the management team and we welcome enthusiastic, sales driven applicants who are passionate about flooring and providing the very best level of customer service.
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Flooring Manager to head up a team of 20 people, including surveyors and flooring fitters,
You must be capable of performing all aspects of the role from day one. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, liaising with clients and contractors on site, and show that you can plan, control and execute projects to completion, on time, in a safe way and to budget.
Surveying and estimating skills for all types of flooring and carpet installations are essential, along with a full driving license.
You will be confident using Microsoft Office and full training will be given for our in-house sales, stock and accounting system.
Our Clients use the Masterpiece estimating system and experience of working with this would be useful, but not essential.
Hours are 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, or the required hours to get the job done, and salary will be based on experience (£35k - £45k Year One).
Other benefits include group pension, staff discount and discretionary bonuses based on company and personal performance.
