Project Manager - Flooring - M3 / A303 Area

Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a fast growing commercial flooring specialist contractor based near Salisbury in their Recruitment plans for 2023 and beyond.

In this instance we are seeking a Contract / Project Manager to run Flooring Installations on their behalf in the area between the M3 and A303 and from Hants to Somerset.

The Company have built a great reputation for their Flooring and Screeding Services and have ambitious plans to continue their growth within their target region between London to the East and Taunton to the West, they are now seeking additional Flooring Professionals to grow their team and their ability to take on more ambitious projects and win more tenders across multiple sectors and to their diverse client base across various Industries, ensuring a varied and interesting portfolio of work for you to manage.

The Role, as you will know is varied and covers the following daily activities:

• To effectively manage various flooring projects including soft flooring and screeding.
• To manage materials and Labour requirements for each job as required.
• Manage workflows and ensure working areas are clear for installation.
• To be on top of the clients requirements, project details and specifications.
• To deliver each project on time and to budget, ensuring our clients high standards are adhered to on every job.
• To attend Project Meetings and to report to senior managers on progress as required.
• To own all Health and Safety management requirements including compiling site specific RAMS etc.
• Quality Management of works and Materials on site with an eye for detail and ability to ensure all works are completed to our clients high standard, every time.

The Role of a Project / Contract Manager is as you will know varied and at times demanding and the above is by no means an exhaustive list of your duties but certainly gives a good overview, bottom line, your role will be to be an ambassador for our clients on all jobs taken on and to ensure that jobs are completed to standard, on time and budget.

The Candidate we are seeking will be an experienced Commercial Flooring Professional with the following attributes:

• Project Management experience in the Commercial Flooring sector.
• Proven track record of delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Commercial acumen and contacts to assist you with getting the work done, sourcing labour and materials as required.
• Excellent People skills, able to deal with a variety of people including installers, suppliers and of course customers / clients on site.
• Communication, reporting and Interpersonal skills to required standards.
• Required CSCS Safety Card to enable attendance on Site, ideally a Manager Level (not essential).
• SMSTS, CALLIDUS Software or similar package are all desirable if you have too.

In return our clients are offering a flexible and negotiable salary package in the range £30k to £40k to start plus benefits.
