Estimator - Commercial Flooring Contractors
Wythenshawe | Permanent, full-time| £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (Negotiable Salary + Benefits Package)
An Opportunity to place yourself at the heart of a thriving Commercial Flooring Operation in Cheshire has arisen and Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting.
Our Clients are a well established Commercial Flooring Contractors, based in Cheshire and servicing clients both Regionally and throughout the wider UK.
Core areas of Business for them are local authorities, healthcare providers, property developers, volume housebuilders and office landlords and they have an excellent reputation for fulfilling across all sectors and as a result have a bulging pipeline of works planned well into the future.
Your role as Estimator will of course be key in helping them to build this pipeline further via taking ownership of their busy Tendering and Estimation office and liaising with colleagues across all parts of the business from Director, through Projects and Contracts Management Teams and ensuring excellent communication with all stakeholders, third party suppliers and contractors and of course clients.
Carpet Roles UK have an extensive Job Specification from our clients but at its core this is a role well suited to an existing Commercial or New Build Flooring Estimator.

- Experience of Estimating and Tendering for Commercial Flooring (and New Build Flooring) Projects.
- Use of Callidus or similar Quantification / Estimation Software.
- Well Organised and IT literate (Excel and Microsoft Suites particularly) to maximise work flow.
- Excellent written and Verbal Communications.
- An eye for Business and Business Development on all projects, time is often key, as is a carefully set up and promptly returned Estimate / Tender.
