London | Permanent, full-time| £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (Negotiable Salary + Car Allowance / Car)
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a newcomer to the UK market with firm roots over in Ireland with their search for an experienced Commercial Flooring Quantity Surveyor to work on their bulging order books in their Central London Offices.
The Company have an excellent reputation for the quality of their work, they are winning New Build contracts across London and the Home Counties Region and need a Specialist Flooring Quantification and Estimating Professional to support their senior management team, working in tandem with the Project Management team and Clients to create a smooth running process for all as well as working on Tenders and Estimates as they arise.

- Dealing with Applications.
- Variations
- detailed cost management of all jobs.
- working closely with the senior management team.
Briefly the candidate they are seeking will also have the following more general Commercial Flooring attributes –
- Experienced Estimator for Commercial Flooring Projects, preferably within the companies areas of specialism in New Build Flooring Projects.
- To have a knowledge and experience using either Callidus Estimating Software or CAD.
- Capable of completing Tenders and bid Documentation as required.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Emailing and Excel.
- Excellent Customer Liaison Skills and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of commuting into Leicester.
- Preparing Estimates for settling prior to submission to client
- Complete Risk Assessments & Method Statements for live projects as required
- Placing orders with suppliers as required
- Preparing Job Packs for projects as required
- Limited visit to sites as required (i.e. site measures/estimating)
- Any Other Duties as necessary
