Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading UK Carpet Manufacturer with their search for two additional Business Area Managers to cover London and South East and the wider UK as required.

The Company:
A leading British Manufacturer of high Quality Residential and Contract Woven Axminster Carpets and Bespoke Rugs with a particular bias towards the Hospitality sector (Hotels, Restaurants, Casino’s etc.) via the A&D (Architects and Designers) Specification route to market.

The Role:
To Cover an area across the South East including London and further afield where required calling upon Interior Designers and Architects and End Users within predominantly the Hotel and Catering (Hospitality) sector, introducing the companies range of high quality designer Carpets in both Woven Axminster and Rug ranges (both Stock and special bespoke designs) ranges. Our clients want the person to fit into their existing team and to work collaboratively within the team of Sales and Design staff to give clients a great experience. You will be building the relationships with clients and building the sales pipeline as you go.

The Person:
Our clients are a Blue chip manufacturer of some of the finest products on the market so we are seeking a Specification Sales Professional that can exemplify in person the very best image for them as a business and who will revel in their benchmark portfolio of products.

Briefly you will have the following attributes:
  • Well Presented with Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
  • Ideally an experienced Representative from a Contract Flooring Sales background.
  • Retail or Distributor Sales Rep Experience would be considered.
  • Design awareness.
  • Real Drive and enthusiasm.
  • Up to date IT Skills (Outlook / Microsoft Office etc.).
  • Smart Appearance and interpersonal skills.
  • A key element of this role will be the ability to work collaboratively with the London Sales Office team, supporting and complimenting your colleagues activities and maximising the teams earning potential so you will be a team player with great interpersonal skills and a can do attitude.
  • Driving License – Company Car provided.
The Location:
The Role will be covering predominantly London and the South East as this is where the majority of our clients target specification market is, so ideally you will be centrally based to them – Basically Home Counties to Brighton but ideally London. As stated, the role comes with a Company Car so must be prepared to travel throughout the area as part of the role.
