Back Office Support - Flooring Retailer
Sittingbourne | Permanent, full-time| £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (Negotiable Salary + Benefits Package)
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting our Clients, a well established and regarded Carpet and Flooring Retailer / Soft Contractor are seeking an administrator to help with the day to running of their business.
Based out of their Boutique showroom in Sittingbourne, they offer homes and businesses across the South East region the very best in interior and flooring products and installation services.
Our Clients business has a proven track record of innovative designs, effective problem solving and attention to detail and their goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of every customer. They take on all types of jobs from small domestic work to larger commercial projects, all carried out to the highest standards, and at very competitive prices. With more than 30 years of experience, they are well-known for high-class service, an excellent range of flooring solutions and are a preferred interior and flooring contractor to many local and regional businesses.
The team are friendly and energetic and have reached the point where they need an additional member to help run the back office function of the Store and, on occasion to assist in the showroom and with handling calls and incoming enquiries though sales will not be a key element of the role.
They basically need someone with great organisational and administrative skills and who can arrange for purchasing products, chasing payments, social media and general organisation of a busy retail operation. Customer Service focussed and friendly with the desire to assist in the showroom and over the telephone as required will be valuable additional skills to offer over and above the administrative ones.
They have an in-house CRM / Management software package that you will be expected to adapt and learn and a full Microsoft suite of software as well as the various social media chanells that they utillise really well.
You will therefore be from a Carpet and Flooring or similar independent interiors retail back office environment, have a positive and energetic “Can-do” attitude and be happy to work as part of a small team and to work Saturdays with a day off during the week.
