Kwik Staff and Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a Kidderminster based Flooring Manufacturer and Distributor in their search for a Senior Sales Administrator to help run their new offices between Kidderminster and Stourport.

Our clients supply Carpet and Flooring products to Carpet and Flooring and Household Retailers and Contractors and have a great range of products. They have recently returned to Kidderminster and have new offices in a great location and are now growing their back office support team to enable their sales teams to maximise sales to clients new and old.

DUTIES

Your duties as Sales Administrator would be:
  • Dealing with sales calls from customers and our clients Sales Team.
  • Processing sales orders.
  • Good knowledge of Export administration – mainly to France, Switzerland and Republic of Ireland.
  • Maintaining stock records and stock control.
  • Liaison with the Warehouse to get orders cut, wrapped, and dispatched.
  • Liaison with freight companies.
  • Placing Stocking Orders with the factory.
  • Weekly reports for Owners.
  • Invoicing customers.
  • Debt Chasing and Credit Control (undertaken by Sales Clerk).
  • Organising/making up samples for customers & reps.
THE PERSON:

The role requires someone that can offer the following skills and experience:
  • Good IT knowledge would be preferable (Currently using Sage. Microsoft Business Central in future).
  • Good ‘all rounder’ who is not afraid to muck in when necessary.
  • Good grasp of maths (converting linear metres to m2 – for stock, raising sampling POs and rug making purposes).
  • Accounting experience would be desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Someone who enjoys variety and making a key contribution within a small team.

REPORTING

You will directly report to the Office Manager & Sales Director / Marketing Director.
 
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT

Normal office hours will be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with one hour’s break for lunch.

This is, however, not a 9-5 job and you would be expected to work sufficient hours to satisfactorily discharge your duties.

HOLIDAYS

Holiday entitlement would be 25 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays.
 
SALARY

Up to £25,000 per annum negotiable.

PENSION

The Company operates an Auto Enrolment pension with The Peoples’ Pension with the initial offer being the standards EE: 5% and ER: 3% contribution.
