In this instance we are seeking a Sales Manager for their soon to be relaunched after refurbishment Trade Counter operation at their depotĀ near Birkenhead.
We have a full brief for the role which is comprehensive and which all applicants will have shared with them but in essence this role involves the following:
- As Trade Counter Manager you will be expected to drive an increase in sales by managing and strengthening the existing customer relations and sourcing new customers whilst effectively managing a team of up to four Trade Counter staff.
- This role as we see it will be Sales focussed whilst also ensuring the delivery of a great customer experience in the Sales Area.
- It offers a fully responsible managerial role too in terms of overseeing the Recruitment and management of your team, Health and Safety Responsibility and also overseeing the financial elements of the budget and targets of the Trade Counter.
- Be a Carpet and Flooring professional, ideally.
- Alternatively you will be from a similar environment where you are used to dealing with Tradesmen / Fitters and with the ability to understand their needs and motivations for making a buying decision.
- Be a capable and enthusiastic Business Developer who is driven to build sales via marketing and promoting the business.
- An eye for details and Merchandising, ensuring a great looking environment that will promote repeat business and upselling opportunities for visitors.
- A People person who is confident managing a small team and who will give customers old and new a great experience every time.
- Housekeeping wise you will be experienced in planning and accounting as well as recruitment and management of your team.
